1
Knox Summer Camp Program.
We heard from Wally Lee a few Sundays ago of the eternal impact that Knox summer camping programs made in his and many others' lives. Knox didn't receive government support for hiring student staff this year, but God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills is not over-ruled. Pray for the full $70,000 needed to come in, so another generation of church and local children can be reached and blessed with God's word.

2
Elizabeth Matthias, Germany.
“Until June 7th, I'm on vacation with my relatives—including Mom and nephew visiting from Canada—to celebrate my aunt's 90th birthday. This is a welcome break after the appendectomy on May 6th! The Discovering Change class finished a week later than I planned—but was reported helpful to the participants. I'm trusting the Lord to keep up with the counseling and mentoring! So grateful for all your prayers for health, wisdom, and love!”

3
Gus & Marliese Ketola, London.
“Due to illness and the weather, we haven’t met with the Metis family in the last few weeks. Please pray that we’ll get together soon. The same applies to the Yazidi family. Pray also for Marliese’s trip home to visit her family for two weeks starting May 31.”

SUNDAY
Eleanor Crabtree.
“I will be having visitors in early June so pray that I will be well enough to enjoy time with them. I expect to have my fourth chemo treatment sometime during the week of June 19th. Pray that this may be the last treatment needed. I am thankful to God for all his blessings.”

5
Dave & Rani, Brampton.
Please continue to pray for Rani's health. Continual pain affects her sleep, her diet is quite limited, and she has lost a lot of weight. Please also pray for self-control for Deepak. With warmer weather, we can meet more strangers passing by our adjacent laneway. We say 'hi' to many, wanting to share Good News. “Pray for wisdom to know how to share about the Messiah. We are grateful for your prayers.”

6
Susan Jeffery, CANIL, Abbotsford.
“Miriam, a CanIL faculty member, had cancer surgery back in March and is just beginning chemo and radiation treatments. Today is Miriam’s second chemo infusion. Please pray that her cancer will be fully eradicated. Also pray for arrangements to cover her work commitments this summer, should that prove necessary. She is scheduled to assist with the phonetics course, becoming course head for it in Fall term.”

7
Hanneke Cost Budde, Tanzania.
Most of her kids will be home for their holidays, May 31-July 3. Pray for a good time with all of them. Services at the local church last 4 hours, without much spiritual input. Please pray. Makala, the friend with lymphoma, has watched four patients die in his ward and feels very sick and discouraged. Pray for the preparations Hanneke must make before travelling to Toronto and Europe.

8
Luke & Yuko Elliot, Aomori Christian Center, Japan.
We are thankful for David Noble's building team from Ontario and praise God for safety and success, for their sacrificial labour throughout a whole month of 12-hour weekdays and 6-hour Saturdays. The multi-purpose refectory is on track to be completed by June 30, on time for the summer camp season. Please pray for remaining work, the July 8 to Aug. 2 summer camp season, and 8 camp staff.

9
Khevna & Sharon, Knox Missions Hub.
It has been a joy over the past school year to see 15-20 students across fellowships (and even campuses!) come together weekly to pray for their campuses, each other, and the world. We're thankful for the many students who stepped up to lead our weekly times of prayer!

10
Khevna & Sharon, Knox Missions Hub (cont'd).
“Praise God for a full month of planning and gathering leaders to learn from one another this past month. Please pray for us as we launch an 'Around the World' interactive 7-week series to experience what God is doing … in different regions of the world throughout this upcoming summer!”

SUNDAY

Today is the induction service and welcome for Alex Macleod, returning to Knox as Senior Pastor. Pray for the whole family (Alex, Judith, Chloe, Callum, Lily) and for the whole Knox staff as well, that God will knit all together beautifully and extend His Kingdom, as we all lean on Him.

12
Carlucci & Christina Dos Santos, LAM. Please pray for Kayapo missionary Bep, his linguistic training, and the learning of the Enawene-Nawe language. Pray with me that God will move us to start prayer groups and adopt Unreached Peoples Groups. Pray for the impact of May's Spanish language workshops on Preaching the Old Testament. They are praying for 4 new expository preaching groups.

13
Elaine Esser, Owen Sound.
“I would like to ask prayer for all the children's camps and Daily vacation Bible schools that will be held this summer. May the children not only hear about the Lord Jesus but be willing to trust Him with their lives.”

14
Beth and Scott Hurd (National Director, OMF Canada).
Please pray for God's guidance in filling OM Canada positions: Lead Serve Asia Coordinator, Director for Finance and Administration, Guesthouse Manager and Lead Communications Coordinator.

15
Ann Chow, Event & Project Management.
Please pray for the planning of Arise Asia (AriseAsia.org), as we count down the days until we begin on July 25th, hosting 1100 Christians, 18-30 years of age from across Asia and the Middle East to inspire towards missions and fulfilling the great commission. Much to do before then!

16
Marg Roth.
Marg asked prayer last month for a friend who doesn't believe God exists. That friend is awaiting the results of tests, expecting bad news and preparing for MAID (medical assistance in dying). Marg's sister-in-law has rapidly progressing ALS. “Thanks for standing with me in prayer for these people who are special to me and in need.”

17
Leah Hopp, OPC, Uganda.
“I have just made it through a few very difficult days overseeing the clinic while the clinic administrator is away for ten days...The clinic just switched over to completely digitally recording information, instead of writing in the paper registers. The clinic staff and I are still learning how to troubleshoot different areas of the software...Thank you for continuing to lift up the mission work in Karamoja before the throne of grace on our behalf.”

SUNDAY
Xerggyo & Hil.
They are travelling around in Chiapas, praying with and encouraging Christian friends and supporters, and hoping to be able to return to overseas ministry in September. Pray for God's open doors!

19
Bill Fitch, Listen to Learn, East Africa.
“Please pray for Susan Tela and Paul Punyua, Listen to Learn's tireless communications staff, as they spend several days each week visiting our Local Bible Institutes, encouraging them in their studies and guiding them forwards. Pray that we can find a way to let Paul spend more time with his wife and two young children, as his work in Eldoret is several hours away from his home.”

20
Mary Jane Fandrich, Arizona.
This past month has seen the pleasure of granddaughter, Anna, graduate Wheaton College cum laude and be commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army after completing the four years of ROTC and summer training. One friend commented: “The Army needs her. Indeed, the witness to Jesus Messiah has been suppressed in the US Army.” May she find her God-given assignment.

21
Paul & Mary Beth McLean, PCC, Taiwan.
“May God bless Paul and all the Bible translation teams he supports as they meet in person this month. May God oversee typesetting of the Bunun Bible.”

22
Jack & Mary Anne Voelkel.
“Praise the Lord for answered prayer: 80 leaders (including Carlucci) from 15 countries met with Jorge Atiencia and others in Lima for a profound conference on Expository Preaching. Pray for them as they lead preaching schools in their countries and begin new ones.”

23
Laurie Armstrong, P2C.
“Pray for mission trips continuing in June - 'Desert Rain,' Vietnam, Nations Next Door (int'l students, Edmonton), Praxis Ottawa - for participants & those they will serve. Pray for staff not on these trips, who will be working on a variety of special projects over the summer, and for students in summer jobs - that they will continue to grow and continue to learn to trust God in daily life.”

24
Sylvia Dresser.
“Thank God that my son Andrew now has a working catheter for peritoneal dialysis and is started on home dialysis. He is also recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon. Ask the Lord to call translators for the south coast tribes where TEAM worked from the mid 1950's until the beginning of the 2000's. Now there are churches, but many are struggling without Scripture in their languages or trained leadership.”

SUNDAY
Colin & Rachel McCordic, AIM.
“Even while we are here in Canada, our minds and prayers are often drawn to the people of Africa and Chad specifically. Please continue to pray for the terrible conflict in Sudan right now.” Many are fleeing, with thousands reported coming to Chad. Pray that the Church in Sudan, in Chad, and other neighbouring countries, will be Christ's hands and feet to the many refugees. Pray for an end to the violence.”

26
Wayne & Helen Hancock, Threefold Ministries, Nicaragua.
“Please pray for the people of Nicaragua and specifically Christians and Christian ministries serving in that county. Pray that they may be able to continue to proclaim the good news of Jesus and serve the people there during changing government regulations. Pray that each would clearly have their focus on serving God by serving the people.”

27
Jim Mason, Challenge Enterprises, Ghana.
“The Covid-19 restrictions that stopped chaplains from regular prison visits were lifted about a year ago. There is a full and regular ongoing ministry to the prisons. Inmates, prison authorities and chaplains are excited.”

28
I & S. Perspectivas, Brasil.
“Thank God for the safe delivery of our son, despite some last minute complications. Please pray for our transition to parenthood and in our work here as we prepare to transition fields in just a few months.”

29
Chyrl Basa, FFM.
We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with another church which hosted the Day of Prayer for the Muslim World on May 13th. Over 30 people from their congregation participated in the prayer and equipping gathering, and the church intends to conduct further congregational training in outreach. Please pray that more churches in the GTA and beyond would participate and host the Days of Prayer for the Muslim World.

30

Pray for Becky.), Diane Dadian, Gladys Linthicum, Norine Love, Patsy McCarthy, Clarence & Cathy McMullen, David & Angela Morris, Barbara Rahn (“Pamela Stedman is adjusting to her new location.
